That's because one of the other two is considerably taller and the second has a much better design.

For those driving north on 35 this is gonna provide an incredible view. Being so close to 35 it will appear taller than it is and have the feel of a large/dense metro.

Taken from my balcony yesterday. Looks like they are a few floors into the tower section

I hated the 21C project on Brazos Street not happening a few years ago. It was a nice tower, but I feel like this one is very similar. I have a feel this one will end up being one of my favorites.

Close enough that one could strike up a conversation with their neighbors
from their residence balcony 20 stories up. If im not mistaken, these residential towers are the first in Austin to have entire sides with windows right up to eachother.... Aside from West Campus that is, but even many of those have less windows, blank walls or have more space between them.

For those of us who live in single houses in neighborhoods, its really not that different. In my prior house, I was literally about 15 feet away from my neighbor's patio. I didn't mind because we got along fine, but then again, we weren't forced to face each other. I would think it could be awkward staring at your neighbor while in your underwear drinking your morning coffee. I hate getting on a train or in a waiting room where the seats face each other for the same reason, especially if I am still in my underwear drinking coffee.

I think it is actually a little more than 20 feet. The garages seems to be about 3 feet apart, and the residential floors step back 10-20 feet each from there. I think it is more like 30-40 feet.

It's true. Congress Avenue was his living room and it never held him back.

Use the old public speaking trick and imagine everyone else in their underwear drinking coffee.

44 East looks huge there, but Quincy really looks fantastic in that photo.

That looks great. I really hope the Travis towers (at least one of them) and 98 Red River happen.

Too bad the federal office building on E. 8th Street blocked the once impressive view of the Capitol when driving northbound on the I-35 bridge over the lake.

Thanks guys! I really want to see the Travis happen, I think it would fill a gap created by the convention center and really connect Rainey and everything to the west of that. Armybrat I don't recall seeing the federal office building when I was driving over the lake on i35, I think it's got blocked by other buildings in the front. Austin has changed a lot in the recent years.
