I don't particularly want to get into a debate about the differences between the merits of architecture as art form in need of constant forward progress versus the merits of architecture as a satisfying habitat for walkable human urbanism, but suffice it to say you are making an appeal to authority logical fallacy.

the complaints here from crawford and 10023 about this scale of urbanism are ludicrous and should be called out.
