^I don't consider what Arbys sells to be roast beef.

but a lot of people in this thread, you and myself included, seem to have caught onto the ultimate secret to finding a cheap house- find a sturdy older building that hasn't been rennovated recently.

I don't have a picture of the inside, but here's an outside pick, as taken from the air. If you couldn't guess, it's circled in red.

@ Cube - haven't seen ya on here in a while, everything OK? Nice place, but what's with the sale sign in front?

@ peaceful - not glamorous, but functional. Looks like ya got what ya need.

@ ChrisLA - those floors make a world of difference, doesn't even look like the same place. Nice.

Since I started this thread, I have moved. So here's the new pad (we bought a condo) in the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood, St. Louis City:

No outside shot of my current residence, so here's a shot of where I used to live:

And a shot of the living room where I now live, sharing a restored Victorian with my partner; pardon the clutter - I took this while we were rearranging and decluttering for the holiday. On a side note, we're celebrating 1 year of cohabitation next month! Well - I'm celebrating, and I'm pretty sure he is too

*Edit* Here's a photo of the back yard in full bloom

^ That's a very nice house! I like that row with different colored houses. It looks nice on ther inside aswell, with the old woodwork around doors and windows.
