Really great pics, mate! Have been to some of these places like New York, Copenhagen (of course), Nice, Barcelona, London, LA and some more, but I really would love to go to Chicago, Tokyo, Rome, Singapore and Hong Kong as well!

Btw, have you been to Shanghai...and Dubai? Would like to see all cities you have been to

Love the Rome pics, specially now that I am reading The First Man In Rome (Masters of Rome series). Which makes me wonder what would go through the mind of an ancient Roman, from a time their city was the or second largest city in the world, pinnacle of civilization in the mediterranean area... and bring them to the future and behold these 21st century cities.

probably same thing that went through the mind of the sub-saharan gladiator, Juba, when he arrived in Rome at the Gladiator movie: "I didn't know men could build such things. "

I've spend my fair share of hours in Dubai airport, but not visiting the city due to it's sharia laws making visiting with my gf illegal..

As for Shanghai it's very high on the list ( if they didn't have VISA demands I would have visited many years ago.. )

Great thread...thx for posting...I should do the same in my own thread now that I have some time.

Dubai is not as bad as you think it is, met a SSC poster there for beer on a stopover to India a few years ago, rooftop bar on my hotel was serving despite it being Ramadan. Fascinating place, don't really care for it, but interesting nonetheless.

Come to Pittsburgh! You should do a "Great Lakes" tour of the US. You could hit up the "gilded age" industrial cities of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Detroit, Buffalo, Toronto, Niagara Falls.

just yesterday had lunch with my father and a friend of his who travelled all over the world (all of Europe, almost all countries in Latin America, USA, Canada, most eastern and southeast asian countries, etc)

He really did not think highly of Dubai. Said it was boring... too hot outside, so you were confined to inside air conditioned buildings... and considering his has an office in Hong Kong and constantly travels in China, I guess the Dubai buildings are not enough of an attraction to him.

I´m feeling jealousy watching your pictures about so many and many places around the world... How do you do this?

Great job and great compilation of pictures.

Travelling and visiting cities, countries, landscapes, is the best way to invest money in life.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

I am sure that when you are dying and everything you did in life rolls before your eyes as a movie, you would preffer to see scenes at exotic locations than your bank extract.
