Family poses for a snapshot on Vine Street just south of Hollywood Blvd. [c1950s]

What first caught my eye is the red vehicle that appears to be parked on the sidewalk. (in reality; it's, no doubt, in a parking space)*
Anyhoo, it looks like the back of, what we called, the 'Resusitator' in my home town's fire department. (think Mayberry)
..... *searches frantically for image* .....*finds nothing*
*Hmmmm, so where
is it parked? At first I thought it might be parked at
Ed Pyle's old gas station on the northwest corner of Vine & Selma....
but now I think it might be somewhere closer, like next to the old Huntington Hartford Theatre [1615 N. Vine]. (near that greasy spoon that used to be there)
Nevermind: Now that I think about it, the greasy spoon was located in a building that was part of Ed Pyle's old gas station. .....we've covered this, like,
three times and I still can't get it right.
You know what. I don't care
where the damn thing is parked.
...
. . .my 'Mayberry' is a ghost town now.....
less Aunt Bea...
more meth lab.
