There's a lot more action on site today. They got a crane on site now, too, and a lot of stuff on the ground. That's all I could see from the El this morning, but I'll try to check it out this weekend.

If/when phase II begins that is when we will see the tops of the first two towers completed.

Because they look like public housing towers and that really isn't a good selling point. I hope you are right that they will complete the tops with this phase.

moderator, please

So why is this project under proposals with two buildings complete - except for the tops - and another underway?

Because it belongs here. With two buildings complete, and no construction-related activity on-site until a couple of weeks ago, the three remaining towers are only "proposed." I imagine if/when the third tower is officially "under construction" this thread will again be moved.

I went by the site on the 26th and saw some activity and it looks like they are doing something to the front of the garage

The Regatta and Peninsula are finished. So which one of these is supposed to start construction next?

Yes, they appear to be doing heavy ground work making way for The Reef 21 stories.

Thanks. So we are going to get the shortest and the tallest of the five next. That will make four towers of the project complete, and along with Trump Tower next to them at 503 feet, it will be an interesting site to see when they are all complete, especially from the Ben Franklin Bridge. The beginning of a nice cluster.

yes, a pic of the site would be nice..

hopefully this tower will rise soon, i think once this building gets up the other two will look more in place and the whole scene should be more pleasing to the eye

Not bad! The original design clearly called for decorative enclosures around the elevator towers. I guess they just had to cut some corners.....unless possibly they aren't finished.
