Bawston during Mahhch Madness

March is a particularly crazy month for me because my birthday falls during it. It's also the first month of the year in Boston where the sun gains back its warmth and yellowness. Gotta love it.

Loads of activity in the Fenway neighborhood:

And on the 27th we had a terrible fire in the Back Bay that claimed the lives of two firemen. This is the responding fire station the following day:

OK see ya next month!

I seriously look forward to your monthly updates, even though I am pretty sure I have seen 90% of this already on Archboston. Keep em coming!

Great tour. I'm not so sure about the yellow and warm sun though.

Nice set. Boston is a city that I've wanted to visit for a while now. I guess I'll try to make it up this summer and catch a game at Fenway.

I know right? Truth be told, I make these for selfish reasons as much as I do to please you guys because I like this long photo essay format and how each one acts as a chapter of my life. Looking back is fun, mmmkay?

Thanks for the post, kz, and Happy Birthday! Pictures are great as always, very architectural-streetscape experiential view, but enhanced by foreshortening, which you don't get with the naked eye--such as that view down South Huntington Ave with the car tracks and a streetcar in the distance.

Such a gorgeous city. I have such a soft spot for Boston, Baltimore, and so many other cities in that region of the U.S.

A solid set of a solid city. I miss Boston, only had one chance to visit when I was younger.
