Hard to find decent aerials of this city but I just came across some the other day and after enhancing them there are some great views to be had.
this first image has the port area on the left with the blue buildings at bottom-left comprising Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' aerospace production facility (where 777/787 wings are made). Daido Steel's massive yards are just above that.
above the port area is the rest of Minato-ward. Bisecting everything is the Tomei expressway, with Mizuho ward comprising the large swath of residential development. It's interesting to note that the JR Tokaido line and shinkansen can both be seen in this view.
this is a view of the center city just east of the TV tower. Most of Sakae and the Meieki (Nagoya station) is out of view to the left. Nonetheless this is an interesting view as it displays the midrise forest of Nagoya to good effect. Center of the picture is Shinsakae and the western half of Chikusa-ward, a higher income area with fancy apartment buildings and lots of condos.
Nagoya Dome and the Ozone district are at top-center. That's not a freeway cutting through the center - it's the JR Chuo line, which ends in distant foothill suburbs some 45 km to the north in Tajimi city.
