Wink Smevo's Year in Review! 2 countries, 18 cities/towns, 113 photos!

We'll start with the exotic...Haiti!
As usual, click the panoramics to get their full size image.

Port-au-Prince (1,977,036 in 2003)

Jacmel (26,077 in 2003)

Now back to Canadian soil. All populations will come from the 2001 census since we have to wait for March 17 to get the 2006 census numbers.
In Nova Scotia:
Halifax (119,292 or 359,111 in HRM)

I only had time to snap the photos for these two panos while I was there.

Sydney (33,913 or 109,330 in CBRM)

The latter is a panoramic of older photos that I just stitched this year, the earlier is a panoramic of the only photos I took in town this year.

Fortress of Louisbourg

North River Little Falls

Amherst (9,470)

Oxford (1,332)

New Glasgow (9,432 or 36,735 in CA)

New Brunswick now
Moncton (61,046 or 117,727 in CA)

Saint John (69,661 or 122,678 in CMA)

Miramichi (18,508)

Oromocto (8,843)

Bathurst (12,294 or 23,935 in CA)

Campbellton (7,798 or 16,265 in CA)

Edmundston (17,373 or 22,173 in CA)

and Fredericton (47,560 or 81,346 in Greater Fredericton)

And the home of Confederation, PEI
Summerside (14,654 or 16,200 in CA)

and Charlottetown (32,245 or 58,358 in CA)

More coming in 2007!

Thanks for letting me see all those great smaller Canadian cities again (you know I'm a sucker for smaller cities). I did miss a couple, so the repost was new for some of them. And I forgot about your trip to Haiti. Good stuff Smevo, look forward to 2007.

Thanks all. Most of the small towns were only posted in the Atlantic Provinces forum, so they'd be new to this forum.

@shappy- not positive how old the buildings are. They're restored (from nothing) to be a full scale replica of the original buildings that were there in the early to mid 1700's when the Fortress of Louisbourg was fully operational (mostly fighting against the British who built the Halifax Citadel around the same time). Unfortunately, I've never been good with history, so I can't remember the dates, just that it was the 1700's.
