This one is incredible. I don't think I've seen downtown quite from that perspective before. It makes it look like an island. Fabulous picture.

I like it as well. The color and calmness of the water also makes it look like Halifax is built next to a lake and not the ocean.

Interesting angle. Looks like they still haven't finished the Keith Hall restoration project.

I've captured a surprise for everyone:

This angle would be interesting even without what seems to possibly be God's approval of the Purdy's Wharf Towers -- as this view gives us another context shot of the Citadel Hotel Redevelopment.

Looking good!

Thank you for your kind words.
I may organise my photos into something, someday! Who knows...

For now, it's fun to share them here (and to show off Halifax on the Canada Page ).

Thanks for posting the link.

The rainbow was so vivid; it was caught from quite a few angles!

The biggest change here is on the right, but you can see the Waterside Centre too. It will create a nice layering effect that will complement the new TD tower. Not sure if the Nova Centre towers will be visible from this angle.

I'm hoping that the next "round" of construction will include the Cunard lot building, Bank of Canada, and Alexander on the left side of this shot.

Couple shots from http://tugfaxblogspotcom.blogspot.ca/. You can make out the library in the first one:

I came across this video, apparently capturing this year's Natal Day fireworks in Halifax.

(Are people mounting cameras onto their toy helicopters now?)

More than likely a Quadcopter.

They are even capable of FPV (First Person Video) where you wear Goggles and have video projected into them, essentially putting you in the pilots seat. Its very impressive.

Here;s a video from a group of FPV quad guys (called Team Blacksheep) who like to "push the envelope" a bit, pissing off the powers that be. Not great for the hobby because they publish this stuff, but neat to see none the less. Check their other videos, they do some amazing stuff all around the world, from Big Ben to Rio's slums.

Thank you for the link. It was amusing to see the variety of reactions from all the people (and especially the friendly, waving crowds) wondering what the hell is in the sky.
