I think work has picked up on this site. They've been cranking every morning I walk past. Any updates on how deep they are supposed to go with this? That picture looks like 1.5-2 stories deep so far?

2 story underground parking garage for this bad boy. Looks like they are about there. Cement should be pouring shortly.

This is the same developer that was behind the addition to the old AAA building right? Now that that building is nearly complete, we may see an uptick in progress on this one. I hope so at least, this is taking painfully long.

Crane is being installed. Street has been blocked all weekend, but things look to be picking up. Excited to see this thing get going!

Ok, I finally believe this project is actually happening.

I was convinced that this was another Residences at the Rodin where the false appearance of construction was created in order to spur investment.

Anyone know enough about what is usually on a permit notice or zoning variance type sign to doctor up a nice one and then tape it all around the Nimby House?

ROFL, maybe we should take that on a custom for any overly Nimby groups. Let them wake up and walk outside to get their morning coffee/paper/whatever and see a sign that basically declares an approved tower at THEIR address. :^)

Cheers,
G.

Thanks very much, Bucks! All the pics on http://buildingphilly.com are iPhone pics. It's amazing what you can do with those little computers.

Can't wait for the iphone 5S to come out. Apparently the camera is going to get another big upgrade which is hard to imagine
