If CNN is not liberal than I would hate to see what constitutes liberal media.

it's really amazing isn't, the 50 yard line has been pushed so far right by decades of neo-liberal corporate control.

CNN is one of the most respected news channel in the entire world. Fox News is banned in virtually all European and Asian markets for being Fake News, right wing spin.

Raleigh ranks No. 1 for housing, quality of life in new Amazon HQ2 site study

Quote:
A new study out Wednesday morning ranks Raleigh as No. 1 among the sites being considered for the Amazon HQ2 project when it comes to housing and quality of life.

The analysis from ATTOM Data Solutions – a national provider of data about housing trends – cites seven criteria in making its rankings such as the state of the housing market, quality of life, education scores, property taxes and crime rates.

Do you read the articles you link? Are you an AI Bot just scraping the internet for key words? They're saying it was a rumor. I can vouch as well that Fox News was not banned as "propaganda" in Australia.

LOL I'm a Republican? And this is based on what? You know on second thought, I really don't care. I'm done feeding this troll but hopefully the mods step in. This is out of hand.

Oh and by the way, no one here gives a shit how much money you make.

Did you read your own link? Snopes claimed the ban in Australia and NZ was false and that no one has banned Fox. It's off the air in the UK because of poor ratings because why would they care about what Hannity says about Nancy Pelosi? They have Sky, which is also owned by Murdoch.

And CNN is a shadow of its former self and a joke.

It might not be a bad idea to relock the thread again.

It's not like there are any updates from Amazon to discuss

Did Amazon choose Newark?

Amazon is looking for an urban planner in Newark. It may be time to reopen the thread:

Quote:
· Participates in strategic planning and development of urban design including building/land use, transportation, technology infrastructure, historic preservation, security and safety, and community engagement.
· Perform long-range planning and urban design assignments related to comprehensive and specific area planning, including preparing and evaluating plans and written reports with recommendations; gathering, analyzing and reporting on pertinent social, economic, physical, and urban design data.
· Perform advanced financial and legislative analysis, grant development, and researching, analyzing and interpreting city, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
· Acts as a liaison to facilitate ongoing, substantive dialogue with city, state and federal agencies and organizations to understand current and future needs for the redevelopment of urban sites.
· Presents information to senior management, elected officials, advisory and special interest groups, transit agencies, local jurisdictions, governmental funding and regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
· Must take ownership and be self-directed, working directly within the business. With a proactive approach to work and a self-starter, thrives in a dynamic and constantly changing work environment
Knowledge & Application: Broad, extensive, and advanced knowledge of the theories and practices within a functional area and its interrelationship with other functional areas. Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas across the function.

^ That could be for HQ2, of course, but Amazon develops a lot of sites for distribution and logistics as well

Yeah, I thought about that but it's the only urban planning role on their entire jobs site.

I doubt they’re hiring a for a single new role to oversee the development of HQ2. There are going to be hundreds (if not thousands) of Amazon employees involved in this, with people relocated as needed, and lots of outside consultants.
