Just wondering if someone could place some context around the height of Telus Sky? Will it be slightly taller than Bankers Hall however still shorter than Eighth Avenue Place or Suncor? I'm just curious because I'm thinking that the current height of Brookfield Place's core is probably pretty close to the final height of Telus Sky? Just trying to visualize how this building will eventually stand out in the skyline.

It's only slightly shorter than the Bow, taller than Suncor West.

I love how we've got / are getting a new 1st & 3rd tallest twice in the last 10 years.
Probably be a little longer till it happens again - but you never know.
Oxford & (something between Brookfield and the Bow in height) next ?

I really want to see Oxford come to life. Slim and tall unlike most buildings in Calgary

Its amazing how much our skyline has evolved in the last 10 years!
I really hope Oxford does work out, I think I heard something about them talking about a redesign, though I can't confirm.
I really like the sleekness of some of these new towers, it really makes them appear far taller than they are.
It would be great to see a 900-1000+ ft tall structure some day in Calgary!

There was a lot of soft pressure on Oxford coming through with something taller than was previously on the table. Economy is a factor in all this, however, better they delay a pinch and get it right (or taller) then them pushing forward too hard and risking bad timing. I can't imagine Oxford coming back with anything less than 900', and really, 300m is not far off from there, so who knows.

That's fantastic! Now if only this slow economy would pick up again

What i like about Calgary is their big wide building.

But i think Calgary got enough of the 200m + .. Time for them to plan on 280-300m

There is one on top of Brookfield too, it's actually a fairly common way to get concrete to the top of a building.
