Confirmation that this will be a package store inside Ponce City Market, with beer and wine to go. It's the space in the northwest corner of the food hall, right near the Ponce entrance, across from West Elm and next to Farm to Ladle.

Joint speakeasy/pizzeria concept to occupy two-story space in the Downtown Neighborhood. Stephen De Haan is looking to file plans for a new joint concept in a two-story space in Downtown Atlanta. Red Phone Booth will be a bar and cigar lounge reminiscent of Prohibition, one of the bars that closed in Andrews Entertainment District. The bar will go downstairs.

The name is an homage to the red phone booth at Prohibition, which guests would enter to dial a number on an old rotary phone in order to gain access to a "secret" entrance to the speakeasy-style bar.

Online retail giant Amazon.com will open staffed pickup location on Georgia Tech’s campus. The 2,500-square-foot Amazon@GeorgiaTech in Technology Square will be the first of its kind in Georgia when it opens in summer 2016.

Starbucks Corp. is bringing its upscale concept for coffee fanatics to Midtown.
Starbucks Reserve, a store named after the company’s high-end coffee line, will occupy the ground floor of the Seventh Midtown condo building at 867 Peachtree Street. Starbucks relocated two years ago from that spot at Peachtree and 7th to make way for Atlanta developer Robin Loudermilk's project.

Old Fourth Ward Distillery filed a permit to change zoning so they can expand and open a new distillery in the abandoned building on Decatur st SE between Daniel and Howell st, a couple blocks south of their existing location.

Has anyone else noticed that the Starbucks on Spring & 4th is apparently also a Starbucks reserve?

I went there recently because the one at Tech Square was opening later during Tech's spring break, and it said "Starbucks Reserve", everywhere and they apparently were offering small plate food items later in the day. Seems odd that this hasn't been news considering they allegedly only have 2 locations, currently in Seattle and NYC.

Many regular Starbucks offer starbucks reserve stuff, but I think stores that are branded Starbucks Reserve are different than those. I am curious how close to Seattle's Starbucks Reserve this will be. The Seattle one looks like a craft brewery inside.

One of Atlanta’s most-celebrated restaurants is moving to a new location.

Anne Quatrano and her husband, Clifford Harrison, plan to move Bacchanalia from Westside Provisions District to a new loft office project on Ellsworth Industrial Drive, according an announcement.
Stream Realty Partners L.P. is developing the $12 million Ellsworth project that will feature 75,000 square feet of new loft office space geared to West Midtown creative firms. The development sits near Topgolf Midtown.

Jimmy Buffett’s rapidly expanding Margaritaville Holdings plans to bring its restaurant concept to the emerging tourism district around Centennial Olympic Park.

Known as Margaritaville and featuring things you'd find in Buffett's lyrics ' cheeseburgers, alcohol and escapism ' the restaurant could open by next summer.
Its development executives have been working closely with the owners of SkyView Atlanta, which wanted to add another attraction.

I kind of hate this. It will bring more activity to the area but ideally this should be at the base of a building. Better than nothing I guess.

Better than nothing for sure. Its hardly worth discussing but if this is built it will leave a much better impression on visitors than the current corner. https://goo.gl/maps/fAdqvH6exc82

Clearly locals and experienced travelers will see this for what it is, a pocket entertainment/amusement district for tourists.

Caravaca Market will house a bakery, coffee bar, wine and cheese retail shop, plus a full bar and restaurant, all within 5,000 square feet of space. Pagancoss said that he anticipates a fall opening.

Haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but Bonnappetit named Staplehouse the #1 new restaurant in the US. I was able to do their tasting menu last Saturday and while the food totally delivered on my high expectations, the service was so warm and different than what you normally get at these kinds of places that it blew me away.
