Downtown seems to be centered on the Main Street from the sforza castle to the duomo

What in that photo do you think is “downtown”? The district with a few modern glass highrises?

This would be a fundamental misunderstanding of how Europeans cities are built and organised.

Do think think of La Defense as “downtown Paris” too?
