Probably, gimme a sec...

Bridgeport MSA
Total Liability: $15,227,839,000
Population: 944,177
Per Capita Liability: $16,128

Yes, Bridgeport has a higher per capita federal tax liability than any metro with 1M+ population

Dunno if that's the highest overall tho...

Dimond, could you bring some MSAs together, such as Los Angeles-Riverside, San Francisco-San Jose, New York-Bridgeport? The list would be more realistic, as they are de facto a single metro area.

It would be interesting to see how the metro tax liability rankings stack up against metro GDP rankings.

Damn, those numbers look really low. Isn't the median salary in places like San Jose over $100,000? It seems low to only be paying $13,000 in federal incomes taxes.

Might be partly a question of per household vs per capita.

Household income, not individual salary. And you don't pay federal taxes on your actual salary (or income), you pay based on your adjusted gross income.
