It’s like if you took away the attempt by Sasso and Vetro to change up the massing and make it more interesting, you’d be left with this turd.

EVERY SINGLE driveway in AB is concrete....didn't know asphalt was so popular down east....

I think you pretty well summed it up right there

They also have a bunch of big TVs... does that count for anything?

Same with Jack Astor’s and Montanas. Too many big TVs hurt my brain.

Having 15 TVs showing the Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans helps numb the brain to the food.

Reminds me of what I'm in for on the evening of New Year's Day at inlaws...they watch football (US college) all day and we're getting 'canadian chinese' takeout food for supper. Thankfully we'll be travelling a lot of the day so I can avoid wall to wall college football...give me the beautiful game anyday.

Why such a hate on for BP's? At least a Western concept is thriving out East. Compared to the astronomical FAIL of Kelsey's out West here...at one point there were dozen's - YEG had at least 11 and all of sudden...they were all shut down within 6 months of each other...wanna talk about a lacklustre concept! Yeah, I changed this to a West Vs. East thing now....

Ah yes, Kelseys Unoriginal Roadhouse: where the food is truly as bad as the commercials!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LmbSkUviMNU

Bland Franchise Restaurant pretends to be “unpredictable” by blasting Trooper

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HzvKjgxbPdM

Socially Unpredictable and other marketing rubbish meant to appeal to millennials

If you haven’t noticed I sincerely dislike Kelsey’s. It’s a shame also because the burger there used to be fairly tasty before it became an “Original Roadhouse” (whatever the hell thats supposed to mean). Now all the food tastes like it came from a microwave set on “popcorn” .

The missing light, for those who aren't familiar with Kelsey's, is intentional and part of the "brand". It's basically trying to be a hipster, but I don't think hipsters are even much of a thing anymore.

I haven’t met anyone genuinely “hipster” since the 90s or so.

The whole point of being hipster is that it's completely disingenuous, so that's why.

Ah yes Kelsey’s Chode House. A depressing dump that reminds me of ABC kitchen and Red Robin. That youtube video was the worst homemade ad I’ve ever seen. I like how the laugh track started when they said hello.

If you’re going to make fun of eastern brands at least mention Pizza Pizza and Scores!

I’m glad I’m not alone in my hatred for that show.

Merry Christmas to you too.

The theme song is awful. Outside of the large annoying yell of THEY BUILT THE PYRAMIDS, it all sounds like one word. Thank god it’s over!

The Barenaked Ladies are Canada’s ugly contribution to that show.

Kelseys recent branding is unbelievably “try hard” lately. Before it was just a budget suburban restaurant that blended into the background, now it’s straight up just pure cringe.the various screwy fonts and neon lights with the idiotic phrases are just cherries on top of a completely unaware brand and restaurant style. I have a complete irrational hate for it.
