This is in North Miami. Its directly adjacent to Route 1 aka Biscayne Boulevard. Right near the Home Depot in North Miami.

In the rendering, you can also see Indian Creek.

Riviera Beach Marina redevelopment gets public market

Quote:
The $375 million Riviera Beach Marina redevelopment project has grown to include a three-story public market for local farmers, food vendors and artisans.

The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency announced plans for the 50,000-square-foot market on Thursday. It would open six to seven days a week, host locally sourced produce and fresh catches from fisherman, and include small retail spaces for artisans. The agency has requested $250,000 from Palm Beach County to finish its design of the market, on top of the $150,000 already provided.

Though plans are tentative, construction of the market could begin as early as mid-2016.

Is that US-1 Federal Highway? Is that near Aventura Mall or something like that. I don't have a clue. Is that Miami Gardens Dr & Biscayne Blvd?

Somewhat near Aventura mall. If you keep driving North on US 1 (that's what I meant with route 1), you'll hit it. Maybe a better landmark to visualize where its at is the FIU campus. Its like right near it.

You need to get back to Florida pronto N830MH! I'm starting to feel bad, and I know how much you miss it. If this keeps up, I'll buy the tickets for you.

Florida needs you, not Phoenix.

Its not official at the moment. But it has garnered support from city officials. This is a partnership, or at least what they are hoping for between the University and Beckham. Essentially sharing the spot. It would be a plus for Beckham to agree as it further improves his odds of getting a site.

Developers propose two big hotel projects in Miami

Quote:
Norwich Dade Hotel Group LLC, a company affiliated with New Hampshire-based company Norwich Partners, submitted plans for a 20-story Marriott hotel in downtown Kendall.

The 19-page application proposes 300 hotel rooms and 155 valet-only parking spaces at 7400 S.W. 88th St. in Miami. Renderings for the hotel show signs for two Marriott brands: AC Hotels and Residence Inn. If approved, the property would be built adjacent to the Dadeland Mall. The renderings, submitted May 15 with the application, were designed by Nichols, Brosch, Wurst, Wolfe & Associates.

Grapeland Hospitality Group has proposed a Staybridge Suites near Miami International Airport with 153 rooms and possibly a restaurant and one other commercial space on the property. The Palmer Lake-area development would be located at the corner of N.W. 37th Avenue and N.W. 25th St. in Miami, which is currently vacant. The application includes 142 parking spaces and a swimming pool. The renderings were designed by Architect J. Antonio Rodriguez Tellaheche.

Mount Sinai Planning To Build A New Eight Story Hospital Tower In Miami Beach

Quote:
Mount Sinai Medical Center wants to build a new eight-story tower on their Alton Road campus in Miami Beach.

The project includes the renovation of part of the existing facilities, with the new tower above the renovated space. It is a part of a master plan currently being reviewed by the city that also calls for a new employee parking garage.

In total, the development will provide 345,000 of new space. It will include emergency care areas, surgery facilities, and inpatient bedrooms.

The employee parking garage will be 256,000 square feet. Employees will enjoy spectacular views while they park their cars in the bayfront garage (although this might not be the best use of the prime waterfront land.)

Cannon Design is the project architect.

Miami Beach staff is recommending approval of the project. The city’s Design Review Board will review the plans at a a meeting next month.
