What an absolute treat and some wide-angle goodness right there. Reminds me of old times on here. Almost shed a tear.

L.A. impresses me more and more each time I see it.

I recall watching the siskel & ebert movie review show several years ago. They were talking about watching movies all over again, such as Chinatown, produced in the 1970s....a movie about LA in the 1930s.

Siskel said something about how the film picked up a certain feeling about LA, a good vibe.

I'm not objective since I live here & am native to the city...while Siskel was I believe a native of the midwest...or at least lived in Chicago when his TV series was on. But I know of few cities that have such a mix of urban & suburban appeal all mixed together.

that may not be what certain tourists or residents want or are interested in...but it is not a common aspect of most metro areas.

I love your threads. There are two cities in the US I haven't been to that I really want to photograph - LA and Philadelphia.

This is definitely a treat, one cannot appreciate Los Angeles to the fullest unless you live here. You do a good job of capturing the many faces of the city, a visitor just will not have the time to see and appreciate all that LA has to offer. I’m glad I live here and get to see and experience one of the greatest cities on the planet. I hopefully look forward to when things settle down and we can go out enjoy it once again.

Great photos! I love LA

My older brother and his family lives in the San Gabriel Valley (northern part), sadly I've only been to LA twice.
Hope we get the vaccine rollout soon so I can make another trip!

^Was that shot of downtown with the people in the foreground taken from Elysian Park?
