Long story short an Ēostre ( spring equinox ) tradition in my family is to paint hardboiled eggs and roll them down a hill - the egg that survives the longest without breaking wins and this year my bad arse "Borke" won big time

We stayed in North Bay Village ( an island between Miami Beach and Miami ) at the Best Western..

Nothing special about that hotel ( not terrible, but coming right from a Hilton resort in Key Largo it didn't impress

), but it was only for a couple days and parking and accessibility in all directions were a high priority, so the location made sense and we did have a nice stay

( in previous visits I have stayed much further south on Collins Ave - but back then parking and traffic wasn't as much an issue as it was this time around )
