Broadstone and The Catherine might complement each other nice.

Parking garage at 5th and Brazos.

This is a year old, so it may have been posted somewhere already. But never give up.

Thank you for posting that, it's a beautiful video and the technique is amazing. It doesn't even seem possible! Caption says it was all done hand-held with no special equipment.

The process of destroying older graffiti in order to paint something new reminds me of Zen sand mandalas. Can't get too attached to anything because everything changes. But still, it was a bit painful to watch a couple of those works get painted over.

Impressive timelaps. It's kinda funny but watching all of the construction not just with Northshore but that whole area, reminds me of worker ants moving about. All the people look like little ants from that vantage point. the construction vehicles are like other kinds of bugs helping them out lol.

Sorry but I'm sick with the Flu and took medicine...

Thanks! And speaking of ants. I think I will do a tilt-shift the next one I do to give it that miniature look.

Made me think of the Doozers from Fraggle Rock.

^I was just thinking the same thing. I'm sure that had something to do with my liking of architecture and construction. I watched Fraggle Rock almost never day when I was a kid.

Yeah, I forget what they were called, but there were these "giants" that lived above ground. There was a king and queen and their son. The Fraggles and Doozers lived underground.

The Fraggles are the ones eating the Doozers constructions because they are made of candy. The bigger ones what ever they were called just thought of everyone else as being below them and everyone was afraid of them.

I was wondering why there were so many jets flying over this morning. i was like, wow, the airport must be really busy today. haha Then I walked outside and noticed those weren't passenger jets. Of course these were F-16s flying over for the governor's inauguration today. We had to go up to our vet today up in Hyde Park, and on the way we saw them again flying along and over I-35. That's when I took these:

Those Jets were for the Governor's inauguration. All in good fun. I wish I had seen them. My, who works at the capital failed to tell me about them.

The Governor's inauguration...

No wonder I had chills down to the bone all morning and afternoon.

I didn't even consider Fraggle Rock but that is so true haha! I loved that show as well. I even had a fraggle stuffed toy. The one with the Hawaiian shirt. Actually I probably still have him. I'm a softie when it comes to stuffed toys. Ive kept all of my most favorite ones and gave the others to my nieces and nephew when they were kids. I still have the very first one that my parents got the week after I was born. I have them stored right now.

Blame it on my deleriusness from having the Flu but I wonder why the doozers only wore shoes, tool belts, straps and hard hats but no pants or shirts...?

They're awesome! OK, so I'm easily amused, but I love when the common and ordinary is tweaked with creativity. Keep Austin Fun.
