^10 points to thee who spots:

1. the 3 flowering shrubs on a roof terrace - what colour are they?
2. what it says on top of one of the buses
3. the 6 yellow canoes hidden (from the ground anyway) in a pretty strange place
4. the shepherd and his little flock of sheep

...just wanted to sneak this one in too, by the same wikipedia photographer:

This picture reminds us of what detroit was.
So sad, the downtown has been choked by a ring of freeways and clouds of smog, destroyed by it's own creation as the auto plants moved to the suburbs and took the people with them. so much of the north side was torn down, sad.

Is this a volcano and is it still active? Also, is that farming that they're doing on/in it?

^That is the Xico cinder-cone located in the middle of Lake Chaco. It is believed to be extinct, all the land surrounding it has been reclaimed from the shallow lake (much like most of Mexico City). And yes, it is being farmed. It's SE of the DF.

Edinburgh is studded with extinct volcanoes too, they built the castle on top of one of them. If there's one place that looks good from high up:

Downtown from 2008 (courtesy of Mister Dalton at Flickr) - the south side of downtown is missing from this pic, and it has two of the taller buildings downtown

Thumbs up Recent Miami Aerial Photos!

SLO, I see where I've already sent you a couple of Miami aerials. I will send some more to post if you like. I appreciated the recent San Francisco aeriels because they showed me where One Rincon Hill was exactly in the skyline. I love the way it extends the San Francisco skyline all the way to the Transbay Bridge.

Some shots from: NewAtlantisMiami

Keep in mind probably half of the towers you see are brand new.

That is pretty cool, someone said it was dormant, you can see they are farming inside...

I think that one with the dormant volcano stops everybody in their tracks.
