It's understandable for any type of development to pause right now and especially hotel and spec office space. I do hope Waldo's will eventually come to fruition.


As much as I get excited about high-rise towers, I love projects of this scale that can fit into small parcels almost anywhere that are zoned for it.

Also, since so many cranes are already in use, maybe they are timing it for when another site no longer needs their crane. I am not sure that it works like that, but it's a thought.

No, it doesn't work like that, they already have pilings up...There are plenty of cranes and no current under construction bldg in ATL is anywhere near finished.

Drove by this site yesterday and I'm almost sure I saw the base of a crane (yellow) mid-block. I'll check again tmro.

I also drive by this morning but couldn't really see shit. Almost had a wreck trying to look down there while driving down Spring

It does look like they are leveling off for something though. Hopefully it is the crane base.
