Yeah, I've never been, but SA looks like Latin America to me. Pretty much every Streetview reminds me of somewhere in Mexico, Colombia or Brazil.

Barra da Tijuca is famous for being the ''Miami of Rio'', which is somewhat accurate. It reminds me of an oversized Aventura. Barra da Tijuca is often looked down upon in Rio by the residents of the more traditional South Zone neighborhoods, which offer a more distinct flavor than Barra, which while nice is kind of sterile in comparison to the South Zone's unmistakable ''Rio'' feeling.

Miami isn't really typically what I think of when I think of what the US looks like, but alas:

What a fascinating place, some of these retail streets (and the awnings) are dead ringer for Sydney.

Also, the streetscape is quite different but i'm getting some Vegas vibes from this: probably even more so inside the compounds that the google car can't go.

I always thought the Svanemølle power station in Copenhagen had a sort of rust belt muscle to it.
