They did the topping out ceremony today, it looks massive from the street/i-95. Its a large building that still manages to stay kind of human scaled, id love to see a large area developed with buildings around this height. 7-14 stories maybe? Maybe this area can fill in to that density. Its certainly on its way!

This project makes me so so so excited. It's going to be an awesome front door to Spring Garden, especially when viewed from the SG El stop.

haha, how long until they apply for a variance to put a lighted billboard wrap on the top ala the Lit building?? It has great exposure to 95. I hope they don't but everything is for sale these days

I drove the 95S to 676W exit for the first time in a while the other day and this project has a huge impact. The Carson too, to a lesser extent

Every time I see "SoNo," I think of THIS contrived neighborhood name from "South Park":

In one of the renderings they show them renovating the cyclone fenced in weeded pit on the SE corner of 2nd/Spring Garden, directly across 2 street from this building. It's kind of a weird lot that's hemmed in by the highway. Is that just marketing bluster, or are there actual plans to clean that corner up?

^^ I think that was part of the 95 rebuild and/or the North Second street revamp
