The clock says spring 2009 and thermometer 18C - a new photo season have started..

To start off the season I did my traditional Easter walk - Langelinie, Amalienborg and Nyhavn.. to that I also added a bit of Østerbro and Nørrebro..

Enjoy... or whatever

Starting of in the Østerbro District

Damn ugly, but when highrises are rare you come to appriciate even the eyesores

Søndre Frihavn - old industrial habour turned commercial and residential

S-Train passing

Double Decker Regional Train

Cute little building in the shadow of "giants"

Ewww.. I really don't like this one

Ferry to Norway

Time to visit Frederikstaden District

Amalienborg Palace - home to the Royal Family most of the year

A brief visit to the habour again

Crowded seas

It wouldn't be spring without a visit to Nyhavn

Crowded as usual

Entering the sidestreets of Frederiksstad

People enjoying Kongens Have ( park )

Nørreport Station - the busiest in Denmark ( located underground )

Onwards in the inner city

Bridge to the Nørrebro District

Nørrebro

That's all folks - for this time...

It has been many years since I have been to Copenhagen. I have great memories. Have you ever been to Sylt in the summer? Ahhh!

Man, this page have pics from almost a year back...

I hope you guys can forgive me for bumping it to the next page before my next picture post - there's way too many pics on this page!

While at it I would also like to point out that that is another reason why posts are very welcome in this thread - even if you don't care or have much to say, it's nice to hear a from people and it helps on keeping the picture count good on each page

... so anyone ever wondered why a "Danish" is called such?

Here it's often refered to as "Berliners" who I think call them something with Vienna

Danes rarely eat Danishes for breakfast - it's often eaten around noon along with coffee..

There are however a special one called T-birkes that is local to Zealand and perfect if slightly heated and filled with cream chease

They also come in a longer twisted version called Frøsnapper...

These are must tried when visiting and you can get them at every bakery heck even at 7 Eleven but thoses aren't fresh they are just defrosted
