I never noticed how much the Austonian looks like a tube of glue stick.

Seriously though, amazing work!

Incredible work! I’m sure it takes a ton of time, but your attention to detail is impressive.

Looking great! New York has the Lipstick Building, Austin has the Chapstick Building.

Wow, these are amazing! Do you sell these? I am very interested in purchasing some of these (most of them). Thanks and awesome work.

You could make them bigger and sell them as 3d puzzles.

You could also get them displayed somewhere. Perhaps the library, or the lobby of some other downtown building.

It does take quite a bit of time, but it makes it worth it when I finish one.

Probably! But then I would have it displayed at my place and that would be sad.

Thank you! And thank you all for the kind words! I'll keep trucking along.

I know I mentioned earlier in this thread that I probably wouldn't be selling these, but I've been changing my mind about it. If I do, I would probably ask between $60-$90 per block due to how long it takes to make each one. Would you still be interested?

3D puzzles suck. I got one of NYC as a kid and the details were non-existent.

Maybe if I do start selling these, they could be in your living room...

Still one of my favorites in Austin. Imagine that building being built at today's height of 700+ feet!

It would really look amazing.

I was surprised to see how glossy these appear to be while squinting at them earlier on the phone. How is that reflection being done? I wouldn't expect paper to do it.

Agreed on 301 Congress. It's long been a favorite building of mine in Austin, and one handsome design that sort of gets overlooked now days. That one and 300 Congress both would be amazing 700 footers. They also both did great jobs of fitting in with their neighbors back in the day. 301 Congress with its main entrance to its lobby along Congress respecting the older buildings there, 300 Congress' base resembling the warehouses in that neighborhood.

I add a glossy laminate to full glass facade buildings. It helps the models pop more.

Man, that's some great attention to detail. I wouldn't be able to do any of this anyway - but I certainly wouldn't think of laminate to make it pop. Great work, bro.

My office is the little 3-story red brick bldg in this diagram, and there is a tree out front of the windows exactly that size. Incredible detail here

Started following your page on IG. Thank you for continuing to do these!

There's a 4mm tree outside your building?

Just makes it that much more amazing that it found its way into this model.
