And to be clear, I get that. I should have a disclaimer or add a signature that mentions my job is to poke holes in ideas to find out what is wrong and figure out ways to make them better. I realize it makes me sound displeased or pessimistic about developments more than not, but I'm really trying to bring out the best ideas. Therefore, I naturally push for best case scenario for not only the end user, but also what would differentiate the development from others. Ground floor retail is a huge plus for this development in comparison to all other O4W developments surrounding the park. Location is great. IMO, placement of all amenities to the roof would have provided a perk that no other development in the area has provided to date in O4W or Inman Park.

Anyone know if the other amenities are included on the roof? Would be a great spot to watch the lantern parade...

This is great to see. We've been waiting long enough and been through too many renderings.

I never noticed that building on the right of Emerson the photo. Is that an apartment building or something?

It's a condo. This is where the old mansion that was formerly their clubhouse on the front lawn was moved to Ansley Park and restored.

I don't really get the hoopla for Emerson. It's a nice enough looking building, although it appears to have been watered down from the original design. But it's going to be pretty short, it's relatively unwalkable and kind of off on its own. The price points are in line with Opus, which is a far more exciting building. The Charles seems like a better value, too, given its location.

Sorry, not the case. The mansion that was moved to Peachtree Circle was in front of the apartment building, on the left coming from Lindbergh.

I agree. But there is something nice about that tree lined stretch of Peachtree. I heard someone comment once that it's our Park Avenue.

We cannot even get continuous development for blocks on end along Peachtree in downtown, midtown, or buckhead... and definitely not along this stretch. And we certainly do not have numerous developments on the same block. I get the sentiment of wanting to relate it as something special. Peachtree is unique... but I wouldn't call it park avenue. Now if all the developments along this stretch were focused around downtown and midtown we'd actually have a legitimate urban core instead of 8 miles of sprawling skyscrapers.

This is a week old before the 2nd crane went up at Coda but you can see how fast the northern half of The Standard is rising.

Hampton Inn & Suites

at West Peachtree and 15th street.

I expect this project will move forward by the end of the year. It was approved for final bond resolution by the Fulton County development authority last month and had development permit issued in June.

There is the potential for Midtown's construction boom to continue strong into next year.

In addition to the Hampton Inn ,195 13th has broken ground, the Colony Square reno starts this fall, Juniper & 5th has their LD permit, Opus place seems to be a question of when not if, with 1105 WP and dare I say Eviva possible as well.

The Standard is already super visible from this angle, and NCR turned out great in my opinion! I can see 6 cranes from this vantage point.
