flamesrule: nope, just 3dsmax and autocad... if the class did, i'm sure would get 100% in it

Caltrane: ah, i see you spotted my little inside joke, the 12 person boardroom table that serves as a dining room table!

on a side note, STR, don't even bother posting, as I CAN'T compete with your models! (I don't know if anybody can)

Must be some engineer joke, for sure. Engineers think some weird shit is funny.

A Sales guy wouldn't understand that at all!

haha, looks like you'll get a 100% on the grade. You could teach the class!

Did they tell you what you will be doing in sketchup?

I like the concept of the last building but it doesn't have a core for elevators and services even if both side walls could sustain all the weight of the suspended blocks. they could share the burden with a light skeleton core.

^the plan is for the exterior walls to act as a core/elevator shaft.

awesome stuff!
I remember a long time ago, experimenting with Sketchup... I could never/and still don't know how to paste those photorealistic stuff on the models! I'm completely noob.

*and that house is sick.

the finished model, called Spectrum Boutique Condominiums;

BTW LCBO means the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. it is the only place you can buy alcohol in Ontario, and is government run.

yep.

basic model of almost all future buildings for down-town Toronto done: many more obscure ones still to add. (I've added everyone that has a thread on this site) I uploaded them to Google earth, and, viola!

It looks interesting shapewise, but too early to tell, really. Keep on it!
