I like that lol. I wonder what it would look like if you put 1 WTC where 2 WTC is supposed to go and put the Shanghai Tower where 1 WTC stands now.

^^^ They already have lol. They need to keep the rest of the hoist as the things the tenants will being in is much too big to fit in a freight elevator.

Tenants come and go all the time. The freight elevators are sufficient for tenants moving in our out.

Interior work remains unfinished too. That means tons of dry wall, metal studs, ceiling tiles, doors, etc. While these can be moved in the freight elevator, it is easier to keep the external construction elevator in place until much of the interior is finished.

Does that mean that the bulk of the interior work has been completed on the floors that the construction elevator no longer reaches?

I just noticed that they are testing different colors for the podium lights. I've got to say, the colors looks pretty neat. It sets a nice mood for the area and the blue is a good match for 7WTC's blue lights! So far I have only seen yellow and blue (Below)

Yellow

Blue

Right, so I wonder if the observatory and restaurant have their interior work largely finished at this point.

I would think they just moved all the big stuff they need up there. I don't think most of it is built yet.
