7] The plans currently include 67,000 square feet (6,225 m2) of retail, 677,000 square feet (62,895 m2) of Class A office space, 256 condominiums, and 120 hotel rooms. The tower would also include a Sky Lounge on the 74th floor and the observation deck on the 75th-77th floor.[citation needed]

Floors B2 to B1: Parking
Floors 1: Lobby/Street Retail
Floors 2 to 6: Shopping Malls
Floors 7 to 26: Office
Floors 27: Swimming Pool
Floors 28 to 41: Residential Units
Floors 42 to 61: Condominiums
Floors 62 to 73: Hotel[citation needed]

I have never heard anything about condos or residential units. Im truly just curious if this has been mentioned anywhere.
Those numbers are crazy. Even if the floor count is correct (which seems unlikely, given the subregional market is much stronger for hotel keys than office space) other literature have said it'd have 900 rooms (a step down from the old hotel) which would be pretty impossible to fit in 12 floors of such a narrow tower.

That can't be current info, the hotel is a 900 key Intercontinental, thought office square footage was in the 400,000 range

OK here is the stats from the Project Information Factsheet:

With a unique “sky lobby” offering unparalleled views of the city and a breathtaking infinity pool, the building will rise 73 stories in the air as Los Angeles’ second tallest building.

900 state-of-the-art hotel rooms, which will be operated by a flagship luxury hotel brand, will set a new standard for hospitality in Los Angeles.

400,000 square feet of Class ‘A’ office space will attract high-end business leaders and make the building a global engine for business.

45,100 square feet of new restaurant and retail space housing world-class restaurants will make this an epicurean delight and drive downtown’s food and cultural renaissance

(2nd tallest by roof/architectural height, they seem reluctant to claim tallest by spire height)

Ok, so generally speaking about tower floors (I have details but not with me) floors 2 thru 26 are office levels. Level 28-31 are mechanical and maybe some other mixed space. Levels 32 thru 69 as hotel floors. Level 70 thru 73 are hotel lobby, bar, restaurant (I think). Anyway, the point is basically that there are office levels, then hotel levels. Don't quote me on any of this, but it is pretty close to fact.

If you go on google warehouse and type in Wilshire Grand you can download a model of the Wilshire Grand and uploaded it to google earth. The model isn't 100% accurate but its good enough.

I can't tell from the photos, but those silver bands on the steel of the lower floors, are they glazing hangers?

If so I am excited to see some glass go up.

This sounds correct from what I heard last year. The top of the core with the current jump looks like it is about the 34th floor.

Design-mind, yes, those are the strips that glazing will eventually be attached to. But the steel will need to be fire-proofed and the concrete poured on the floors first before glazing can be attached. Expect them to do 4-5 floors before glazing starts to go up. It takes 4-5 days per floor to do both (and that's at a pretty good pace), and they have yet to start yet. So if they were to start this week, you're looking at 3-4 weeks before we'll start to see glazing.

The silver strips are gauge metal pour stop for concrete. Glazing attaches to a thicker steel plate embed that casts into the slab and is spaced for mullion system. Those interrupt the slab edge you are seeing now.

SLJR do you have an accurate height on the core with the jump that has just happened.

Concrete pouring on the floors has started. Go to the AC Martin page on facebook and there is now a video of it.

Level 34 is real. Probably about there now. That elevation is +662'-6" (street level is +286). Floors are now spaced at 11'-6" and continue that way up to level 66.

I just had a random thought. Those hotel rooms on the northern side of the tower at about the 55-65 story level will have the crown Figueroa at Wilshire, the single brightest crown in the city, glaring in their windows at night. LOL. Hope the blackout curtains are good. Im sure it wont be that bad, but the glare of the that bright blue/green top will blind out much of the rest of the view to the north. I wouldnt care...Id just be thrilled to be there.
