If you are referring to 200 Portage, that building is not part of the 300/360 Main redevelopment, it's owned by another entity.

You can see the development plans for that building here:

It would be nice if there was something that could be done with the white rbc building in the background. It's a real eyesore.

Artis spent millions on an extensive renovation in 2017 to that building. That's when the new exterior lighting features were installed.

Huh. That's one of my favorite buildings in that area. I think it looks great - and is aging - visually speaking - REALLY well.

It just looks like it had the same gold cladding around the edges. Maybe they're not done yet I suppose.

Built in 1966. The first modern tower to rise around the Portage and Main area, and for a couple of years the tallest office building in the city. I think it's a nice building and has aged very gracefully...

The cladding around the edges hasn't been removed yet, it will all be gone eventually.

There is a very large bracket just under the current floor that I was assuming would be a tie in point. But I don't know if that actually is what it's for.

I too like the RBC Building. One of our better "modern" buildings. My only comment is, for me, it would have been perfect if it was double the height.

Definitely held up well over the years. Still looks clean and modern.

Ya it was painted last year along with new windows. The planned main level interior and exterior reno is still going ahead I think.

Constructed/completed in my birth year (1966) and is much nicer than the ugly PSB and civic parkade from the same year currently being demolished for something better.

The LED lighting is terrific.

When was the last time that the core was poured and raised at 300 Main?

I don't know about the core but I've been watching it rising, again and again, over the last few weeks and months.
It was level months ago to the lower crease of the building behind it. It's now many floors above that and looking just fine.

Last pour might have been August(?!) based on some of the posts in November when they pulled down the pump. The core form rose on Jan 3rd.

I noticed the hollow core being unloaded this morning was manufactured in May, 2019. Typically these will be delivered and installed with a couple months from start of manufacture. Gives some context to the delays.
