yeah. I was an undergrad at concordia U before the Bell Centre was built. that part of town was full of weedy lots and parking lots, and a few abandoned buildings (e.g., Overdale, Queen's hotel). Montreal was at its nadir. It is so great to see the city back up on its feet.

My pic from two days ago. The lot to the left is rumoured to be the lot fora new CP project and there's a gas station on the right of the McDonalds that might get replaced soon.

Should've updated this a while ago, but construction will start in May 2019 and will finish 2022. It is a large plot of land/project (680 units) hence why it'll take four years to complete.

MONTREAL | 1000 De la Montagne | 144 M / 472 FT | 45 FLOORS

Another massive project under construction near the Bell Centre, 1000 De la Montagne will feature close to 700 units over 45 floors. It is about halfway built at the moment. Not sure if retail or commercial will be included (feel free to add info if this is the case)

The Guaranteed Milk building is the one next door (brown brick) in between this one and the CCE buildings.
