Nice facade. This is one tower that stands out positively in the sea of boring glassy modernist revival towers in the vicinity. It reminds me of the HdM stuff.

I haven't followed this construction at all. Awesome to see that it's topped out and the façade is well on it's way! I agree with others, this is a gorgeous building. Almost looks like one of those you'd see in a video game or a dreamed up render with no hope of actually being built, and yet here it is! I miss the Roseland Ballroom, but this tower is a worthy successor.

It really is a nice building, and these pictures from Monday and Tuesday from the Allianz offices two blocks away and the Novotel Times Square across the street really don't do it justice. The cladding is a slightly green-tinted glass with a light silver metal cladding. It looks phenomenal. You can see the Nordstrom Tower in the background starting to poke into the skyline.

A very impressive building.
Kind of vaguely reminds me of a lot of the buildings going up in Toronto right now...

I know everyone loves this one but I'm just not really feeling it. I almost wonder if it would look better without the white extrusion; simply curved glass.

To me, that's what makes it interesting and a nice break for the eyes. There are scores of buildings that are "simply curved glass."

I love what they have done with the cladding, creating an exoskeletal framework. My only concern is every one of these ledges will become home to pigeons and this will become a defecated mess.

One World Wide Plaza is such a jewel, even after all these years.
