there are supposed to be 5 stops and they are not going to be in middle of parking lots. You might want to check out some of the documents showing the proposed routing before making inaccurate statements. And several routing alternatives were considered, this isn't being done in a vacuum.

I'm biased and want federal funds and septa's attention within city limits.

it wont happen without federal funds and some of the biggest beneficiaries of this system would be people in Philly who work out in K of P. SEPTA serves more than the city and a lot of money is being invested in the city including City Hall and 15th street stations.

It would have been nice I think if they saved and reused the relief sign on the new building. I also wish they copied the arch Windows.

Will take out current 3 floor building on site, and the majority of the surface parking lot reduced to 5 spaces.

Damn. I've gotten so much really good craft beer and amazing (greasy) pizza from Omega over the years. Glad to see some more density here, but I'll shed a tear for my old corner pizza/6-pack spot.

Again, I'm not sure why it was removed, but I asked an Admin to re-tag the thread under "Philadelphia Projects and Construction."

In the meantime, you can access the thread by going to the Skyscraperpage Forum homepage:

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/

...and click on City Compilations under Global Projects and Construction.

Talked to one of the workers. He said they are vetting foundation issues as the lot was once the site of an old church.
