more views from 432 Park’s penthouse

These have been around for a few days but in case somebody missed them

Construction topped out at 432 Park Ave. last week, meaning the tower is officially the tallest residential building in New York City. Construction topped out at 432 Park Ave. last week, meaning the tower is officially the tallest residential building in New York City. The luxury condo stands at 1,396 feet, slightly taller than One World Trade Center, which is 1,362 feet tall (not including its spire, which brings its official height to 1,776 feet). It contains 104 condos, including 10 floors of penthouses. One already sold for $95 million. The views from the residences, some of the highest homes in the world, are truly astounding. Residents will be able to see to the top of Central Park to the north, One World Trade to the south, and Brooklyn and New Jersey to the east and west. Developers CIM Group and Macklowe Properties shared these incredible photos, snapped from the top of 432 Park. - See more at: http://therealdeal.com/blog/2014/10/....h1NhIn5Z.dpuf

^ They are spectacular views for sure, and here are the larger versions...

What I would like for someone to do is place 1 Vanderbilt in the photo below.

This is why I would like 1 Vanderbilt in the photo, you get an idea that the towers will face off...

^ this is awesome!

I am so glad they are going to build 1 Vanderbilt that tall. Where is that graphic from? I would love to see that silhouette graphic with the Hudson Yards and other towers included such as Tower Verre and the other 57th street monsters

And given that this tower has so much more heft, it's going to be even more imposing on the skyline than the ESB is.

It's just too bad that this is going to take so long to rise. I mean, I guess it will be topped out sometime in 2019, but it's still a ways away. If only they could get building sooner...

Today they did the second to last perimeter jump. I think it is possible that this very week they do another and final jump, effectively topping out this tower...

Excellent, though I think 111 is a little thin.

Playing peek-a-boo from the 7 Train in Queens. Several viewpoints, from miles away to right across the river.

Its a 5 year project, no doubt. Just like 1WTC. I mean this is taller than the Empire State Building and its an office building. Its going to take awhile to finish.

some quick shots from the Tappan Zee Bridge. Excuse the quality as it was from a moving car at a far distance. (wasn't driving, obviously)

^^^Great pics guys.
I'm not sure what to make of 432.
I love the height, and love the mark on the skyline.
But $90mil + for a condo ... in that skinny a building, that high in the air, geez. I wouldn't feel safe. Also, it's sort of the epitome of the very real and gross economic inequalities of this world. And it's a rather bland design.
Ugh, I guess I'll just try to enjoy its height and forget about the other stuff.

Social commentary, we don't really need. But glad you enjoy the height, if not the design!

It's almost comical how tall this building is. Like they forgot to stop.

I agree...a person who buys a room there could be a great philantrop as well. Who donates money for charity and for safe flying etc.
