Those are great. That's better than I could probably do with the crown of BoA. My thing is even if I can envision what the facade should look like and what pieces to do it with, I haven't a clue how to put them together to make it structurally sound. I have the mind of an architect. Engineering something like that throws me for a loop.

I am now on Flickr if anyone would like to follow me and vice versa. You can check out my photostream here.

I'm working on getting some all-new, high-res photos of my MOCs on there, slowly but surely. I may even have a new model to debut once I finish posting the other thirty-two.

Bonus: additional structural demonstration model highlighting in color what's underneath the skin.

I thought I'd make up this 1920's-style ad to to help build up some anticipation for my next model! I was definitely inspired by the way the actual building was so highly publicized long before its construction because of the worldwide competition for its design. Thank you to Anonymous for your journalistic contributions!

I was very disappointed in Brickcon here in Seattle. There were almost no architecture pieces.

Guardian Building, Detroit - LEGO Model Completed.

We can't have this forum taken over completely by microscale builders can we?

After almost 23 months since I started construction, I have finished the exterior of my Guardian Building model.

This model is 8 feet (2.46 meters) to the roof and 9 feet (2.77 meters) to the top of the flagpole. I will be displaying it as part of a MichLUG train and town display at the Henry Ford Museum starting next week.
