What you are saying is in complete opposition of the purpose of this forum. Which is appreciation of super tall skyscrapers. The tallest skyscrapers in the world, in fact.

Well, since im very new here, i didnt realize that 432 park avenue would be the one of the couple superskyscrapers in new york soon, so that was pretty idiotic of me.
By the way, now that i noticed it, the couple supertalls being built soon are like a throwback to 1930s new york, where downtown manhattan had a few pretty tall skyscrapers, that stand out alot

A friend of mine captured 432 from the Met. I can barely fathom how tall it is already, I can't believe it'll be growing for at least a little while longer.

Who else notices the almost transparency in the upper portion of the structure, to where you can see the core visibly? No doubt due to floors not yet being constructed.

The floors are created... It's just empty inside causing light to pass through.

Oh it might be the lack of windows that's doing it. But yea, the core is quite visible.

I have followed this build from beginning , and I am amazed how fast this has gone up incredible imo. And how many feet are left it looks so tall already.

Well, yeah ... I'm sure it takes longer to build out the floors than actually build the floor. I would also guess that because they are for billionaires, a lot of it is custom.

If I'm counting correctly, the top of the core is where the next mechanical floors start. Given the immense height of the floors, it would seem that after that there will be 12 more floors and then the top of the building.

I think it will take some time for me to get used to the height. I'm not the least bit upset about it, but it's strange to see when you're used to the scale of the Midtown skyline up to now.

Can't say I'm not relieved to know that 111, 217 and 220 CPS are all already in process. This will look tremendously better with a few peers to balance out the overall impact.

Wow, I had no idea this was so far along. Offhand does anyone know how long it's taking them per floor? Just curious. With such a "skinny" building I imagine it could be pretty quick.
