I can't post pics on here any more but I did go see a smaller lego exhibit at the EMP here in Seattle. A Tacoma artist built several towers.

Glad to see you so busy after quite the lull period following your WTC. Keep 'em coming!

The newly redesigned base for my model of Trump Tower, Chicago. Anyone care to venture a guess as to why I redesigned it?

To make it connect to your next 2 models the IBM building and the Wrigley Building. To make a 4 building connection.

If you make the Wrigley building you will have to make the Tribune Building, No excuses

In case anyone was wondering, yes I am still working on this beast:

The Guardian Building model is currently 6.5 feet (2 meters) tall with 32 stories and I have 8 more stories to go. Then I will put a very tall spire on it so it is taller than the Comerica Tower (built by another MichLUG builder Scot Thompson)! Take a look at the Detroit skyscraper diagram on this very website (SSP).

I was actually wondering about your progress on that a week or two ago. It's coming along nicely! Will it go more quickly now that you've almost reached the main setback?

I knew it, now you have to put the Tribune Building on your list of things to build, same with the IBM building (even though that model is simple)

I think it was past time I made a new logo for my display. Hopefully one day this view will be a lot more "dense!"

so, speaking of trump tower rebuilds, i have been working on a trump tower chicago. however, it will be built under construction, since the completed model would be over 10 feet and my ceiling is only 8 feet...anyways, this model is similar to the trump tower built by sean kenney on display at the water tower place lego store in chicago, IL.

Wow! I bet the Pick A Brick wall is your new best friend!

If you ever do get to top it out, make sure you put the parapet on the correct side. Sean Kenney's model took a bit of artistic license in that regard

Just a little something I whipped up in the Digital Designer:

Sorry the majority of it is somewhat lacking aesthetics, I'm kind of an amateur when it comes to freehand Lego building.

I have a slightly irrelevant question in regards to the aesthetics; I hope you don't mind me linking your picture. I really admire the extensive color palette you used on the mall facade and roof (sand red ). What is the color you used for the barrier wall between the mall corners and the omitted highrises shown here? I thought it was tan at first glance, but since the panels along the roof look more like tan, I'm guessing it's one of the light yellows...?
