Regarding Casa Duenas in San Salvador, some of the information in the article is incorrect.
The house most certainly was not vacant from 1965-1967 as I lived there with my parents and my brothers and sisters. We moved in when the American delegation moved out. It was a beautiful home with large beautiful gardens surrounded by high walls. I understand that the gardens are now gone.
