Orientation

Does the programme by default orient itself the way you aligned it. For example your Toronto view seems to be from the NW and for Mtl it was from the SW (although in Mtl it is often hard to tell which way you are pointing).

Damm that need to put THIS in Flight Sim X! Crank up the details to extreme to make it look like this. That would simply be jaw dropping!!!

SInce its Microsoft why dont they. Ah yes, PC's wouldnt be able to get and frame rates.

Just awesome! New york is Mad!~ So dense.

With regards to flight sim, i don't see why we all aren't just flying aircraft in a web-based environment, with local terrain information (1 mile radius) streamed into the computer.

Odd that they have some new ones in Miami but not the tallest.

Looks like they just forgot the area east of Brickell Ave for some reason (losing the Four Seasons in the process).

It automatically orients like a map, facing north. You can rotate it to whatever angle you want. It's a great way to explore cities.

I don't know about Miami, but in Toronto it looks like they just went by a snapshot - under construction buildings are shown but at half their completed height, etc.

This is amazing! It's like Sim City, except that the cities are real.

Another pic of Calgary with the textures on. I love having a 24" monitor... Too bad the model for the Calgary Tower is exceptionally shitty, especially when they did such a good job on the Saddledome and the Talisman Centre

And with a little bit of tweaking in Paint.net...

Neat!

With all the construction going on in Calgary, it will look very different in a couple of years.
