I wouldn't drive any cars on those roads. I hope they get them fixed soon, but I dunno about Winnipeg

From what I hear, the Concordia Overpass rehab is slated to start next year. It will include some road work on lagimodiere. Not sure of the extents.

But yes, it's mostly the section from Grassie to Almey ish that needs the work done. These TBO's only last a short while on the busy routes. Maybe they'll be innovative and go with a thicker lift of asphalt. Or do the sandwich method like was done on McGillivray to try and add some life to the repairs.

Will be interesting to see what's all included, as I've also heard the pedestrian grader sep on the south side will be 'something else'.

Replacing bearings on Arlington bridge. Spending likely 7 figures on a tear down.

City really needs to take down the bridge soon.

Why replace the bearings if it's a teardown? Just to stop it falling in the short-term?

That's probably it. The bearings are shot and adding stresses to the structure.

I'm not sure what location exactly on the bridge those bearings are at. But any time you need to deal with the railway, it adds significant cost to the efforts.

Very impressed with the north Henderson design. Too bad it’s still 5 years away. That stretch is in very rough shape.

Is this a certainty to move ahead?

They are literally going right up to Henderson Highway and chief peguis trail. They should’ve included an interchange at chief Peguis and Henderson at this point if they are doing this project for “SAFETY”
