I'm very much in favor of trying to make downtown affordable to as many as possible but that's one of the nicest parcels in the city and one of the worst concentrations of poverty and social problems to be found in that area. I was under the impression that most of the residents of the old highrise at that location are considered to be "disabled". I actually thought that was a requirement for obtaining an apartment in that building. I was not aware that there are a lot of "social problems" in the building. Could somebody knowledgeable provide more information?
