The
final environmental impact statement for the King of Prussia Rail project was released recently. I feel obliged to point out that by 2040 this approximately $ 2,000,000,000 project is projected to have 6,755 daily riders.
SEPTA had previously reported estimates of 9,500 daily riders for the project.
Presumably when at last constructed it will have cost the gross domestic product of one of the more successful African countries and be ridden solely by the emotional support dog purchased by the Authority to keep the drivers from succumbing to suicidal depression out of loneliness.
