guess, but probably not. I heard it was to honor the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, for its national screening day. They did a more high-profile thing with the Empire State Building.

Durst said it would "play off" the other antenna/spire light shows. They never promised it would be the exact same ie a city-wide light show.
