That's certainly true, but that's the sort of naming idea that state legislatures love.

On a different topic, what's being displaced by the bridge's approaches? Looking at online maps, the Illinois side seems to go through a very vacant strip between East St. Louis and Brooklyn, but what is being moved on the Missouri side?
