Agreed with a couple caveats.
Northern Manhattan. Key sites in WashHeights and Inwood could see highrise developments, though they have been poo-poo'd or stalled out up until this point. Sherman Creek revelopment could also bring many housing units, some in tall buildings, if that redevelopment ever gets going. Maybe in the next 10 years.
The Bronx in general. I'm an absolute believer in the Boogie Down. I think we are limiting our imagination if we think it's just the south Bronx that will see high-rise development. Things are really heating up and I feel like the Bronx is one enormous untapped borough. I think in the next 10-15-20 years, we're going to see highrise residential scattered throughout the densest areas. It might sound crazy but I think the Bronx could absorb 300,000 units in the next 25 years. It will be amazing to watch.
