When I was looking for the gas station, I too was surprised by how much Paramount had expanded south of the iconic arched gate.
I was also confused. -so Valentino Place is now private...didn't it used to be a public street?
(was it named Valentino Place back then, or did Paramount rename it?)

I also noticed this apartment building on the other side of the Paramount 'shrub' fence/wall, as seen from Melrose.
