Earl that was a nice little story,the Ebony showcase was a small 2 story brick building,I passed it all the time while walking home from my friends house.I was surprised when they tore it down and replaced it with a awful looking building that looks like the new pershing square came to mid la in form as a building.But Sams last photograph alive was taken on Dec 6th 1964 at the Ebony.
