I laugh remembering that when Dad built our house in Collingwood, he picked the district because 'it was only 15 minutes from downtown'.

When we sold the house last year after living there for 40 years, the couple who bought it were thrilled that 'it only took 35 minutes to get downtown'.


I think this was explained by the space-time relativity theories of Einstein, but the math is too complicated for me.
